Abstract:

GOAL

Determination of optimal designs of root pin inlays of multi-root teeth depending on the shape of the structure of the roots and the material of the orthopedic structure, taking into account the analysis of stress-strain states using mathematical models.

MATERIAL AND METHODS

84 units of 3D models of the teeth of the upper and lower jaw chewing group with the most typical structure of the roots restored by root pin tabs made of cobalt chromium alloy (CCC) and zirconium dioxide have been developed.

RESULTS

Calculation of the main stresses arising in the tissues of teeth restored by root pin tabs under the action of chewing load at an angle 0°, 15°, 30°, 45° to the axis of the tooth showed that the nature of the stress distribution largely depends not on the shape of the structure of the roots of the teeth, but on the quality of modeling of the unloading area, as well as the number and length of the pin parts of the root pin tabs.
