This paper was designed to report the results of the combined etiopathogenetic treatment of the patients presenting with moderately severe chronic generalized periodontitis. The presence of this pathology was confirmed by the results of laboratory studies characterizing the lipid peroxidation processes in the oral fluid. The proposed conservative therapeutic modality included the use of a Vector apparatus at the pre-surgical stage of the combined treatment. The efficacy of this approach was analysed and estimated.
