The article contains analytical data based on Russian Unified State Information System for Accounting of Scientific Research for Experimental Design and Experimental-Technological Works, RSCI, Scopus (Elsevier), OpenAlex (OurResearch) and MeSH (vocabulary thesaurus for biomedical information from the National Library of Medicine, USA). The analysis includes the amount of Russian public funding of pulmonology (SCSTI 76.29.35); the according list of publicly funded institutions; Ph.D. and Doctoral thesis defense statistics in pulmonology; pulmonology research topic clasters as well as statistics on top authors by scholary output globally and in Russian Federation.
