Abstract:

OBJECTIVE

Development of a system for monitoring the patient’s well — being at the postoperative stage and supporting managerial decision-making by the head of a medical organization on the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform

MATERIALS AND METHODS

A comprehensive study, including in-depth interviews with medical specialists at the short-stay hospital (n=12), expert interviews with heads of other hospital departments (n=9), and testing of a prototype digital product was conducted on the basis of the Buyanov State Clinical Hospital in Moscow.

RESULTS

Based on the results of the study, the need to create a CRM system for this medical institution was identified, the main product requirements were identified, and a mobile web application was developed that includes 3 interconnected modules. The functionality of the application allows you to inform patients about the specifics of treatment, to receive data on the patient’s well-being at the postoperative stage.

CONCLUSION

In the context of digitalization of healthcare, a CRM system for monitoring the patient’s well-being at the postoperative stage is an urgent need for medical organizations, however, it requires taking into account the specifics of a particular clinic or hospital department.
