Abstract:

Sterilization, as a procedure influencing demographic processes, was widespread earlier and is also carried out in our time. This procedure is accompanied by many legal nuances reflected in the legislation of the countries. The norms of law especially carefully fix the specifics of the application of sterilization in relation to incapacitated persons. The considered medical procedure, as a rule, provides for a judicial procedure for obtaining consent to sterilization, which, in turn, is legislatively individualized in the law of each country.
