Abstract:

Health schools in the health care facilities of Ministry of Health and Social Development of Chuvashia are a current method for primary prevention. At present, there are health schools in 27 disciplines in the health care facilities of the republic. Schools for patients with hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, and atherothrombosis are most popular. The experience of a health school is an effective and low-cost form of preventive work among patients with cardiovascular diseases.
