Abstract:

The lecture is dedicated to the most common diagnostic and treatment errors that occur in the treatment in patients with mediastinal tumors. It presents the main reasons why these errors happen, as well as the ways of their prophylaxis and solutions. The algorithm proposed by the authors for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with mediastinal tumors will help avoid these problems in its application in clinical practice.
