Abstract:

Extensive surgical approaches are applied to treating invasive cervical cancer. Due to the anatomic site of a cervical tumor and the characteristics of its regional metastasis, surgical interventions are associated with the development of serious urologic complications. The review considers postoperative complications, such as ureteral fistulas and pyelectasis.
