DEAR COLLEAGUES!

The issue you are holding in your hands is devoted to gastroenterology. Today, the possibility of "reversing" steatohepatosis, the most frequent liver pathology encountered by doctors of all specialties, is being actively discussed. After all, until recently there were no tools to do this, but today there are. Read about it on the following pages, as well as the causes and treatment of vomiting, constipation, B₁₂-deficiency anemia and more.

But, I confess, my thoughts are not here right now. These days the Russian army is demilitarizing Ukraine. Huge numbers of civilians in both countries are living in tension and waiting for peace. And so am I! I wish our military a speedy completion of their assigned tasks and a return home! I pray to God that casualties on both sides are minimal. And I am waiting for news.
