Rules for publishing author's materials in the "Non Nocere. New Therapeutic Journal"
Non Nocere is a scientific and practical journal for therapists, endocrinologists, cardiologists and doctors of other therapeutic specialties. The main focus of the publication is professional activity and everything that concerns a doctor as a specialist and as a person. Lectures and literature reviews, articles on new diagnostic methods and other important information for practicing physicians are published.
"Non Nocere. New Therapeutic Journal " is accepting the following manuscripts:
Author information
To be submitted on a separate sheet, where the full name, place of work of all authors, their positions and photos with a minimum resolution of 300x300 pixels are indicated; full contact information is necessarily indicated for one (or more) author and includes e-mail, available phone number.
Conflict of interest/funding information
The document contains the authors' disclosure of possible relationships with industrial and financial organizations that may lead to a conflict of interest in connection with the material presented in the manuscript. It is desirable to list the sources of funding for the work. If there is no conflict of interest, it is written: "No conflict of interest is declared".
A conflict of interest arises when an author (or organization represented by that author), reviewer, or editor has a financial or personal relationship that adversely affects actions and decision-making. Not all such relationships involve a conflict of interest.
The potential for a conflict of interest may exist whether or not an individual believes that the relationship influences his or her scientific judgment. Financial relationships (such as employment, consulting, equity ownership, honoraria, paid peer review) are the most easily identifiable examples of conflicts of interest that can undermine the credibility of a journal, particular authors, and science in general. However, conflicts can also occur for other reasons, such as personal relationships, academic competition, and intellectual enthusiasm.
The author(s) should indicate the role of the sponsor of the work, if any, in the design of the study, in the collection, analysis and interpretation of data, in the writing of the report, and in the decision to submit the report for publication. If the above aspects of the work were carried out without the involvement of the sponsor(s), the authors should also indicate this.
The information is provided on a separate sheet.
Overlapping publications
The author(s) should inform the Editorial Board of all previous publications of the work in a cover letter, viz:
Such publication is possible when: the article is of public health interest and is printed with obligatory reference to the initial publication; the article is rejected by another publication, the article is a complete description of the work following the publication of the initial report.
Plagiarism
Plagiarism is using someone else's published or unpublished ideas or words (or other intellectual property) without attribution or permission and presenting them as new and original rather than as derived from existing sources.
The meaning and purpose of plagiarism is to mislead readers about the contributions of the plagiarizer. The term applies whether the ideas or words are taken from abstracts, research grant applications, applications to an ethics review committee, materials published in any form (print or electronic) or unpublished.
Plagiarism refers to the unfair practice of scholarly publishing.
Self-plagiarism — occurs when an author uses a fragment from a previous article on the same topic in another publication without marking this fragment as a citation. It is not regarded in the same way as plagiarism of ideas and words of other subjects and does not refer to the unfair practice of scientific publications.
Abbreviations and list of abbreviations
Abbreviations should be common and understandable to the reader. Abbreviations that coincide in spelling with other abbreviations that have a different meaning are undesirable.
The list of abbreviations and their transcripts is prepared in accordance with generally accepted norms in scientific literature. Terms frequently used in the manuscript (e.g., AH, CVD, AC) and names of clinical trials (SOLVD, TIMI, HOPE) are abbreviated.
Formatting of graphs, charts and drawings
Graphs, charts and drawings are accepted in electronic version in "MS Excel" formats,
"Adobe Illustrator", "Corel Draw", "MS PowerPoint", photos with a resolution of at least 300 dpi. The name of the figure files should consist of the first author's last name in Latin characters and the serial number according to the text of the article.
Titles of figures and their captions are given on a separate sheet. Figures should not repeat the materials of tables.
Tables should contain concise, necessary data. Each table should be printed on a separate sheet with a number, title and explanation. The tables should clearly indicate the dimensionality of indicators and the form of data presentation (M±m; M±SD; Me; Mo; percentiles, etc.). All figures, totals and percentages in the tables should be carefully verified and should correspond to their mention in the text. Explanatory notes below the table are provided where necessary. Abbreviations should be listed in a footnote below the table in alphabetical order. Footnote symbols should be cited in the following order: *, †, §, ||, ¶, #, **, ††, etc.
The place where a figure or table should be placed in the text is separated by blank lines, between which the number of the figure or table is indicated. Reference to a particular figure (table) should be in the text before the place where the figure is placed.
List of references
The cited literature should be printed on a separate sheet of paper in columns at 1.5 spacing. References to works that are not in the reference list, and vice versa; references to unpublished works, as well as works that are many years old (>10 years) are not allowed. The only exceptions are rare, highly informative works.
In the bibliographic description the surnames of authors up to three, after which, for domestic publications should be indicated "et al.", for foreign publications — "et al.". When describing articles from journals indicate in the following order output data: last name and initials of the authors, the name of the source, year, volume, number, pages (from and to). When describing articles from collections indicate the output data: surname, initials, title of the article, title of the collection, place of publication, year of publication, pages (from and to).
Literature references are indicated in the order of citation in the manuscript. In the text, a reference to the serial number of the cited work is given in square brackets [1]. Each reference in the list is from a new line. All documents referenced in the text should be included in the reference list.
In order to increase the citation of authors in the journal, transliteration of Russian-language sources using official encodings is carried out in the following order: authors and the journal name are transliterated using encodings, and the title of the article — semantic transliteration (translation). For the convenience of transliteration it is possible to use online services: https://www.translit.ru. and others.
All Russian-language sources of literature should be presented in a transliterated version.
The author(s) are responsible for the accuracy of the data in the reference list. The reference list should follow the format recommended by the American National Information Standards Organization (NISO) as adopted by the National Library of Medicine (NLM) for databases (Library's MEDLINE/PubMeddatabase) NLM:https://www.nlm.nih.gov/citingmedicine.Названия periodicals may be written in abbreviated form. This form of writing is usually self-adopted by the publisher; it can be found on the publisher's website or in the
Index Medicus list of acronyms.
