The article presents the case histories of two young women who suffered from recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis. Vitamin D deficiency was revealed in both patients. Treatment of candidiasis was carried out in two stages: relief of relapse and long-term anti-relapse treatment with azole antimycotics. Treatment of vitamin D deficiency was carried out according to modern clinical guidelines with obligatory laboratory control of the level of 25 (OH) D once every 3 months.
