Abstract:

The effectiveness of metaphylactic of urolithiasis as an actual medical and social problem is determined by the conclusiveness of the pathogenetic mechanisms of the disease. The statement of crystallogenesis role in the lowering of the threshold of solubility of salts, or excess concentrations above the threshold of solubility, is an obvious fact but does not disclose the mechanism of biological defects in sanogenesis as a basis for the development of urolithiasis. Tamm-Horsfall protein (THP) is the inhibitor of crystal formation and it is presented in the urine in various oligomeric forms. The method of dynamic light scattering shows the dependence of the ratio of THP with molecular weight 7 and 28MD from pH and concentration of monovalent cations and no dependence on the concentration of urea. The ratio of the THP forms differ in healthy individuals and patients with urolithiasis. In the article is proposed a new method for pre-clinical diagnostics of urolithiasis.
