Gout and amyloidosis are diseases accompanied by metabolic disorders in the body that affects the metabolic processes in tissues and organs causing disturbances in their structure and function. The skin manifestations of these systemic diseases have been analyzed. A rare clinical case of systemic amyloidosis with damage to the kidneys, intestines and skin in a patient with prolonged chronic tophus gout is presented. The disease in its beginning had a clinical picture of nodular-plaque amyloidosis related to primary localized cutaneous amyloidosis. An important role in the diagnosis of pathomorphological examination of skin rashes and intestinal mucosa using amyloid staining has been established. Nodular-plaque amyloidosis identified in patient is a rare variant of skin amyloidosis with a potentially systemic lesion requiring dynamic clinical and laboratory observation by a dermatovenerologist and related specialists to control the somatic status. Thus, a long-term chronic gout can lead to the development of secondary amyloidosis that significantly worsens the prognosis for patients due to the possible risk of renal failure. The presence of combined systemic pathology affects the clinical course of the skin-pathological process, thereby complicating the timely diagnosis of the disease.
