Abstract:

Relevance. This problem is highly relevant because of the growing number of patients with vulvar lichen sclerosus. Furthermore, in many cases, the disease cannot be controlled despite rather large repertoire of treatments. Objective. The study is aimed at improving therapy of lichen sclerosus combined with co-infections using Panavir, Fotona Dynamics erbium laser, and PRP. Material and methods. The study involved 40 females diagnosed with vulvar lichen sclerosus. All patients underwent a complex outpatient therapy using Panavir solution and gel, Fotona Dynamics erbium laser, and PRP. Results. Combined therapy with Panavir in the form of solution for intravenous injection and gel for external and topical application, Fotona Dynamics erbium laser, and PRP in patients with early signs of lichen sclerosus was effective in 95% of cases.
