Abstract:

Lichen planus (LP) is a polyetiological chronic inflammatory skin disease. Numerous studies have shown that LP differs from other dermatoses in the frequency of combinations with cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, endocrine, and nervous diseases. Relationship between LP and other diseases resulted in identification of a number of syndromes. Thus, combination of erosive ulcerous LP with diabetes and hypertension is known in the literature as Grynszpan-Potekaev syndrome. Another syndrome described in the literature as Graham-Little-Piccardi-Lasseur syndrome includes progressive cicatricial alopecia of the scalp, total alopecia of armpits and groin area, and follicular LP on the trunk and extremities. This article reports clinical cases of patients with Grynszpan-Potekaev syndrome and Piccardi—Little—Lasseur syndrome.
