Abstract:

Comparative analysis of 18 separate aortic valve and ascending aorta replacement operations and 18 aortic valve replacement operations with ascending aorta exoprosthetics was carried out. Lethal outcomes were not observed. In patients with ascending aorta aneurysms and aortic valvular disease with moderate dilation of Valsalva sinus and sinotubular ridge separate aortic valve and ascending aorta replacement and aortic valve replacement with residual aotoplasty and intima-preserving exoprosthetics are both acceptable. There was no difference in direct results of comparable surgical techniques.
