A clinical observation of a successful minimally invasive treatment of a common bile duct cyst is presented. Patient 16 years old, hospitalized with complaints of pain in the upper abdomen, nausea, dry mouth, general weakness. Pain in the upper abdomen of the patient appeared 2 months before admission and was periodically repeated. From childhood, she noted episodes of jaundice. According to ultrasound and CT of the abdominal organs, a cyst of the common bile duct (hepaticoholedoch) was diagnosed. A video-assisted resection of a congenital cyst of the common bile duct was made to patient. The postoperative period was uneventful, the patient was discharged on the 8th day after the operation. The given clinical case demonstrated the possibility and high efficiency of using the video-laparoscopic method and minilaparotomic approach using the M.I. Prudkov «mini-assistant» in the surgical treatment of congenital cyst of the common bile duct.
