Abstract:

The article presents a review of literature data on endoscopic stenting of the output section of gastric and duodenal outlet obstruction in the form of unresectable tumors. Historical information about the development of this technique is given. The options for installing metal stents in these sections of the gastrointestinal tract and the types of metal stents to be installed are considered. Information about early and long-term results, as well as possible complications of this surgical intervention is provided.
