Abstract:

The most significant factors determining the ability to perform single-step reconstructive surgery on the anterior cruciate ligament were established. Typical technical pitfalls made during the initial reconstructive surgery for acute and chronic injuries of the knee ligaments were identified. The most frequent concomitant knee injuries associated with instability of the knee joint were emphasized.
