Nebulizer therapy is important in correction of some diseases accompanied by respiratory failure.
To assess the current state of nebulizer therapy in hospitals and improve its effectiveness.
Prospective observational study is scheduled. National multiple-center trial is devoted to the current state of nebulizer therapy In Russian hospitals. Subjects of the study are anesthesiologists, intensive care specialists, heads of ICUs, deputy chief physicians for anesthesiology and intensive care (heads of centers), employees of chairs of anesthesiology and intensive care, doctors (pulmonologists) using nebulizer therapy. No interventions are scheduled.
The study design is registered in the ClinicalTrials.gov database. The trial organized by the Federation of Anesthesiologists and Resuscitators of Russia together with the Voyno-Yasenetsky Krasnoyarsk State Medical University is scheduled for March 2023.
This study is of great scientific, medical and social importance. We plan to obtain data on «bottlenecks» in application of this technology and create a national model of indications and contraindications for nebulizer therapy.
