Abstract:

In this article the results of tooth erosion treatment is explained. Tooth erosion — non-carious lesions of tooth. Erosion causes irreversible loss of tough tissue of tooth, due to acid demineralization, developing without the involvement of microorganisms. From the history of the examined patients it was found out that all of them suffer from gastrointestinal diseases, pathology of the endocrine system, experience frequent stress situations and have complaints about teeth defects. To increase the resistance of tooth enamel to acidic effects, the tooth enamel was remineralized with calcium glycerophosphate and magnesium chloride with the final use of aminofluoride and sodium fluoride. As a result, the treatment has achieved stability of the process, which allows the restoration of the teeth. All patients are recommended to be followed up by a gastroenterologist, endocrinologist, neurologist and dentist.
