A fragment of clinical epidemiological research. Aim: to evaluate the results of prosthodontic treatment in the Republic of Ingushetia. Material and methods. The research involved 45 patients with partial adentia and 31 patients with full adentia. Individual registration card (IRC and IRC-FA) was filled out basing on the survey, clinical examination, analysis of medical record. Results. The main complaint with the partial adentia was difficulty in biting and chewing food 37 (82.22%) cases, with complete absence of teeth was breakage of prosthesis 26 (57,77%) cases; defines the terms of service of dentures: fixed dentures 19 (44,18%) cases has been used for more than 10 years, partial dentures often have to be replaced in 7—10 years — 12 (57,17%) cases, full removable dentures were changed every 3—5 and 7—10 years in equal amounts on 29 (29.62%) cases; the most common types of fixed dentures were stamped steel dentures with a plastic lining 21 (41,17%) prosthesis and stamped dentures without lining 19 (37,72%) prostheses; replacement of dentition defects with removable prostheses used partial removable laminar prostheses in 26 (92,85%) cases. Conclusion. The continuation of this research will provide a comprehensive and objective assessment of results prosthodontic treatment in the region.
