The organization of the training and continuous professional education of dental practitioners in the Russian Federation is regulated by the orders of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education and Science. Some of them establish the conflicting rules and conditions for the acquisition of the professional qualification and the assignment to the position of the dental practitioner. At present, the priority task is to develop the requirements for the competence and qualification of specialists in stomatology and related disciplines.
