Abstract:

Polimerization shrinkage of the siloran-containing material was measured by the Archimedes method using 36 specimens of composite materials extensively applied for the filling of the masticatory teeth. It was shown that the siloran-based material is characterized by the smallest degree of polimerization shrinkage (< 1%) compared with traditional metacrylate compositions.
