The article presents data on the microbial landscape of the mucous membrane of the nasopharynx in the healthy children of different age groups obtained from the analysis of the results of mass spectrometry of the microbial markers (MSMM). It was found that the method employed makes it possible to reveal the difficult to culture microorganisms, in addition to the readily cultivated component of the microbiota, and thereby provides a deeper insight into the mechanisms underlying colonization of the mucous membrane of the nasopharynx by the microorganisms under the normal conditions.
