Abstract:

The authors analyzed changes in the structure of cancer morbidity in the Astrakhan region in 1970 to 2010. There was a statistically significant decrease in esophageal and gastric cancer morbidity, but an increase in colon and breast cancer one. These data show that it is necessary to elaborate measures to affect cancer incidence for its reduction.
