Leukemia inhibitory factor and endometrial receptivity
M.M. Leviashvili, N.G. Mishieva, T.A. Nazarenko, E.A. Kogan
We studied LIF in the endometrium tissue and cervical mucus (CM) during implantation window in 79 infertile patients with multiple IVF failures and 8 fertile women of reproductive age. That average normal concentration of LIF in CM was 20±8.6 pg/ml. The increasing over 45 g/ml is associated with chronic endometritis. LIF expression is predominant in the stroma of the endometrium in patients with chronic endometritis. The measurement of LIF concentration study in the cervical mucus seems to be informative and non-invasive method of endometrium receptivity assessment.

The polycystic ovary syndrome in patients with diabetes mellitus type i
О.R. Grigoryan, Е.E. Grodnickaya, М.А. Kurcer, G.А. Melnichenko, I.I. Dedov
Women with diabetes mellitus type 1 (DM1) and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) have normal level of sex hormone binding globulin, suggesting that the pathophysiology of hyperandrogenism in PCOS patients with DM1 appears to be different from that in PCOS without DM1. Hirsutism is less severe and oligomenorrhea is less common in women with DM1 and PCOS compared with nondiabetic PCOS women. Physicians treating women with DM1 should be aware of the risk of hyperandrogenism and should include evaluation of hirsutism, menstrual abnormalities, and biochemical hyperandrogenism into routine examinations. Future studies are needed to determine the best preventive and therapeutic options for the hyperandrogenism in these patients.

T.A. Nazarenko, N.R. Mamedova, I.V. Monahova, A.A. Amirova
The present study is aimed to investigate the changes in serum luteinizing hormone levels during controlled ovarian stimulation. The decrease of its level at the 6—7th day of stimulation was demonstrated regardless of used gonadotrophin, the type of GnRH analogue and ovarian reserve. LH below 1,5 IU/l and above 2,5 IU/l was associated with worse quality of received oocytes. No significant differences were observed between hMG and rFSH or combination of rFSH and hMG in cases of IVF patients with normal and high ovarian reserve. LH supplementation on the 6-7th day of rFSH stimulation cycle in groups of IVF patients with low ovarian reserve showed better cycle outcome resulting in higher clinical pregnancy rate per started cycle (34,5%) compared with rFSH alone (16,7%).

A.M. Feskov, E.S. Zhylkova, A.N. Zozulina, E.V. Blazhko, V.A. Feskov
The PGS with FISH-analysis on chromosomes 18, 21, X, Y was performed for patients with spermatozoa aneuploidies. PGS was carried out for 150 high quality embryos. The blastocyst formation rate was 54.00 %. 79.01 % of formatted blastocysts became from euploid embryos, 18.52 % of blastocysts became from aneuploid embryos and 2.47 % of blastocysts became from the embryos without nuclei in the investigated blastomeres. BFR was almost in 4.6 times higher (р<0,05) for the euploid embryos comparing with aneuploid embryos. Among the aneuploid embryos the BFR was in 6.5 times higher (р<0,05) for the embryos which had the aneuploidies of sexual chromosomes only comparing with embryos which had also the aneuploidies of the autosomes.

N.Yu. Sakharova, L.N. Markova, A.A. Smirnov, E.F. Vikhlyantseva, L.A. Fialkovskaya, N.M. Gretskaya, V.V. Bezuglov
We have studied the effect of dopamine conjugate with dokosahexaenoic acid (DHA-DA) on in vitro development of 2-, 4-, 8-cell mouse embryos. It was shown that DHA-DA did not stop the cleavage of 2-cell embryos but altered their compactizatiowhich started at the stage of 8 blastomeres. DHA-DA did not influence on the development of embryos till the stage of multicellular morula. The 8-cell embryos in the presence of DHA-DA developed a multicellular morulae but formed the abnormal blastocysts. DHA-DA provoked the significant anomalies in the structure of embryos. The opportunity of dopamine participation in connection with docosahexaenoic acid as a negative regulator of early embryo development is discussed.

The comparison of two methods for detection of human spermatozoa with damaged membrane
V.V. Evdokimov, L.A. Kharlamova, D.T. Aibyatov, V.B. Turovecky, A.S. Erokhin
The trend of recent years reveals marked reduction of fertility parameters of the ejaculate. An important criterion for fertility is the number of viable sperm membrane which is impermeable to vital dyes. In this paper we used two dyes - eosin and propidium iodide, which penetrate through the damaged cell membrane. Staining of native ejaculate gave similar results in study and control groups. Incubation of sperm within 24 hours showed a higher percentage of nonviable cells identified with the help of propidium iodide. The content of nonviable sperm after cryoconservation was also higher. Sperm motility is significantly decreased after incubation.
