We publish previously unknown letter by a Soviet surgeon, academician of the USSR Academy of Sciences (1942), Stalin Prize laureate (1942), Honored Science Worker of the RSFSR (1934) Sergei Ivanovich Spasokukotsky (1870-1943). The letter was written in 1942 during the evacuation to Kuibyshev. The addressee is the student of the scientist Mikhail Anisimovich Derzhavets (1898-1957).
