Abstract:

The paper gives a clinical example of successful combination treatment in a female patient with locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma, which demonstrates the fundamental importance of adequate diagnosis and the choice of correct management tactics for the patient. An individual approach using up-to-date radiation, chemotherapy, and surgical techniques makes it possible to rely on radical treatment, by maintaining quality of life in patients even if nasopharyngeal carcinoma shows a significant local spread.
