The paper considers approaches to treating patients with primary pleural malignancy and metastatic involvement. It presents experience in using cisplatin in the procedure of intrapleural hyperthermic chemotherapy in 7 patents with pleural tumors. It shows the methodology of the procedure and the specific features of anesthetic support and analyzes the nature of complications. The authors describe a case of successful use of the procedure in a patient with pleural mesothelioma.
