Abstract:

A clinical case of detection of the significant decrease glycated hemoglobin (2.3%, reference interval 4.1—6.1%) at the patient with hemolytic anemia is described. It was found that the obtained HbA1c values are reliable, are not associated with the error of the preanalytic and/or analytical phases, and correspond to the patient’s clinical condition.
