Abstract:

In the article was analyzed the state of the laboratory service in Russian Federation. It was noted that in the infrastructure of the laboratory service of the state health system in Russia 79.2% of all laboratories are clinical and diagnostic. The shortage of qualified specialists with higher and secondary medical education in clinical laboratory diagnosis was determined. The state of the laboratory equipment park was analyzed. The necessity of its modernization was shown.
