The liver is a key organ in a copper metabolism, in a hepatocyte are synthesized cupriferous and copper-transport proteins. The liver is for copper and the main excretory organ and becomes obvious that diseases of a liver will be followed by its disturbance. Material and methods. In research was 162 patients (54 are included (33%) patients the chronic disease of a liver (CDL) developed as a result of a viral infection (a virus hepatitis C and/or a virus of hepatitis B) at 67 (42%) patients abuse of alcohol, 20 (12%) patients primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC) at 21 (13%) patients the Wilson's disease (WD) was the cause of a chronic disease of a liver. The condition of an exchange of copper was estimated on copper level in a blood and daily urine and a ceruloplasmin at bloods. Results. The average level of copper in a blood made 18.1±0,52 µmol/l, an average urinary excretion copper with µmol/days urine 0.41±0.01, the average content of a ceruloplasmin in a blood made 47.3±1.44 mg/dl. Values of copper of a blood above normal physiological indicators it became perceptible at patients with cirrhosis of an alcoholic etiology 10 (14,9%) and at 5 (9.3%) patients with a lesion of a liver of a virus etiology, at 2 (10%) patients with PBTs. In group of patients with WD at 90% of patients it was lower than norm. Sensitivity and specificity of depression of level of copper for diagnostics of WD made respectively 95% and 24%. Rising of level of a hepatocuprein above norm became perceptible at 10 patients with an alcoholic lesion of a liver, at 9 patients with a virus lesion, and at 14 patients with PBC, at 90% of sick WD it was lowered. Direct copper in a blood became perceptible authentically more often at WD of 19 patients, than - 6 patients at virus a liver lesion, and 25 patients with an alcoholic lesion of a liver. Sensitivity and specificity of detection of direct copper at a gipokuprumemia makes 100%. Conclusion. The copper augmentation in a blood at patients with chronic diseases of a liver, isn't followed by augmentation of a daily urinary excretion of copper, in difference from sick BVK. For diagnostics of illness of Wilson's disease detection of direct copper has the greatest diagnostic importance, at depression norms of level of copper in a blood (gipokuprumemia) are lower.
