Objective — the study was aimed at assessing the clinical efficacy of the coformulated cream including mometasone furoate + gentamycin + econazole + dexpantphenol in the treatment of dyshydrotic plantar mycosis and dyshydrotic eczema. Material and methods. We followed 47 patients. All patients were divided into two groups: group 1 included 27 patients with dyshydrotic plantar mycosis; group 2 included 20 patients with dyshidrotic palmar and plantar eczema. Isolated plantar lesions were diagnosed in 13 patients, palmar-plantar process — in 7. Both groups of patients underwent topical treatment according to the same procedure: the cream under study was administered on the rash area 3 times a day starting from day 3. Results. In group 1, itching decreased by day 4 of treatment and was completely resolved by day 8—10; full resolution of the skin process was observed by day 20 of treatment. In group 2, there was more persistent vesicle process, itching was observed until day 10—12 from the initiation of treatment. The time of itching resolution matched the time of drug withdrawal on day 12—14. In this group, palmar and plantar vesicular lesions started to regress simultaneously in 7 patients. Some patients demonstrated incomplete resolution of skin process: 4 (20%) out of 20 patients had erythematous-squamous foci without vesiculation by day 20 of treatment. Discussion. The cream under study has a pronounced anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antifungal effect and also stimulates skin repair. Conclusions. Administration of topical combination anti-inflammatory and reparative drugs is required regardless of the nature of systemic therapy.
