The study provides the data on congenital syphilis incidence in Tyva Republic for the period of 2004—2013; comparative data on the crude incidence indicators of syphilis and congenital syphilis in Tyva Republic, the Russian Federation, and the Siberian Federal District for 10 years; as well as some data on the syphilis incidence in pregnant females in Tyva Republic. Despite a reduction in the syphilis incidence for the last 10 years, high incidence of congenital syphilis in children persists by 2013, significantly exceeding the all-Russia figures, which requires more active measures of interdepartmental interaction of all agencies and community in the Tyva Republic.
