Abstract:

The article presents the literature and our own data on the prevalence and incidence of vulvovaginal candidiasis. Nowadays Lomeksin (Fentikonazole) is the drug of choice in the treatment of VVC, due to its efficiency, a wide range of antifungal activity, safety, high compliance, as well as activity against mixed infections.
