The first results of the work undertaken to elaborate and develop an interdisciplinary module based at the theoretical (histology, cytology, embryology) and clinical (dermatovenerology) departments are presented. The majority of skin diseases are known to be associated with the development of inflammation, compromised regenerative capacity of the skin, structural rearrangement of the blood and lymph circulatory beds, changes in the innervation system, and dermal remodeling. Therefore, the training of qualified professional dermatologists requires the in-depth study of these processes that are poorly highlighted in the basic text-books of histology. This request message of clinicians made it possible to define a set of questions that must be supported by the relevant factual material within a course of histology and eventually transformed into purpose-oriented forms of the students' activity. The accomplishment of this task based at the theoretical department would permit not only to motivate the students for the clinical work but also to satisfy the requirements of the clinicians.
