Abstract:

Increase of the global incidence of congestive heart failure and limited resources of contemporary medicine for reducing mortality rate and treatment of this disease ensure rationale to develop new methods aimed at improvement of the quality of life of patients with this diagnosis. The hypothesis of the BYHEART prospective observational study is based on known ability of exogenous phosphocreatine to improve central hemodynamics. Effect of a single treatment course with phosphocreatine on the quality of life of 750 patients with congestive heart failure will be assessed in this trial. Upon completion of the observational program, the results will be published by the study initiator.
