Abstract:

The article describes a closed echinococcectomy performed by a laparoscopic method. The patient had previously undergone splenectomy and nephrostomy from the left paracostal approach, for 8 years noted pain in the left abdomen, the presence of postoperative ventral hernia. The examination revealed a volumetric formation with a diameter of 11 cm in the left subphrenic space, a positive titer of class G immunoglobulins to antigens of single chamber echinococcus (1: 400). The operation was performed as planned. The cyst was been dissected and removed from the abdominal cavity through the umbilical wound from the multiport. The postoperative period was uneventful. Discharged from the hospital after 4 days. A control examination after 12 months showed no signs of echinococcosis.
