Abstract:

A clinical case of hybrid surgical treatment in a 40-year-old patient is presented for a Dieulafoy’s lesion complicated by recurrent gastrointestinal bleeding. The use of computed tomographic angiography was the leading method for diagnosing this anomaly. As a result of using endoscopic control during laparoscopy, it was possible to accurately localize the affected area of the stomach wall Performing an sparing stomach resection did not lead to the complications development and allowed to effectively and radically eliminate the source of bleeding minimally invasively. The time duration of surgery was 90 minutes, the volume of blood loss was 10 ml. No recurrence of gastrointestinal bleeding has been reported at this time. The use of hybrid surgical technologies (laparoscopic stomach resection under the gastroscopy control) made it possible to accurately localize the affected area of the stomach wall, which made it possible to perform the operation minimally invasively in this patient. Final conclusions require further research.
