Abstract:

The possibility of the left colon’s tumors removal laparoscopic method difficult complex surgical anatomy: obesity, narrow pelvis, low localization of the tumor. We have developed a technique of using a laparoscopic hand-assisted combined lateral and spinal access. The article described in detail the method. There are the results of 71 tumors of the left half of the colon and rectum operations with a complex anatomy of this area.The proposed technique is minimally traumatic, that is characterized by low blood loss, a slight increase of stress hormones after surgery, a decrease in terms of recovery motor-evacuation function of the intestine.
