Potentials and effectiveness of endoscopic retrograde interventions in diagnosis and treatment of diseases in hepatopancreatobiliary area in terms of municipal multifield hospital from 2008 to 2011 years were analysed. Total number of patients was 1063. 44.7% of patients were with choledocholithiasis, 9.5% - with oncologic disease who underwent diagnostic and treatment transpapillary procedures. 81 (7.6%) had combined pathology: stricture + choledocholithiasis, cancer + choledocholithiasis and others, confirmed or newly diagnosed in the course of transpapillary intervention. Practically all varieties of diagnostic and treatment endoscopic procedures for biliary hypertension were applied: retrograde cholangiopancreatography, endoscopic papyllotomy, endoscopic mechanical lithoextraction and lithotripsy, nasobiliary drainage, bouginage, balloon dilation, stenting as well as endoscopic contact electrohydraulic lithotripsy of choledocheal stones. Effectiveness of endoscopic transpapillary procedures comprised 94.2%, in 4.6% they were ineffective, complications developed in 4.3% of cases.
