Endoperitoneosorbtion - a pathogenetic method of local detoxication - is developed for the treatment of generalized peritonitis in the setting of small bowel obstruction. Experiment in 85 white outbread mice has been carried out. Regional detoxication was provided with the use of drupaceous activated carbon. Based upon outcomes of the experiment, complex treatment of 42 patients with peritonitis of different origin has been provided. Application of peritoneal endoperitoneosorbtion showed to be effective in management of generalized peritonitis.
