Abstract:

Over the period of time from 2007 to 2010 75 patients (101 ureters) underwent endoscopic removal of VUR in the urologic department of NRCMCH. As an implant material polymeric "Glycogel" hydrogel was developed by the National Academy of Engineering of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Among noted group of children III degree vesicoureteral reflux prevailed - in 56 (74,7%) patients. Following parameters were evaluated: mean flow rate, its exposure and value of ureterovesical angle. Quantitative indicators mentioned above allowed author to develop endoscopic removal of VUR. Efficacy of developed and implemented endoscopic correction of II-III degrees VUR when using single-step «Glycogel» in short- and long-term periods was 91%, of IV grade VUR - 60%.
