The journal “Voprosy kurortologii, fizioterapii i lechebnoy fizicheskoy kul’tury” is the oldest Russian journal that publishes articles concerning the medical application of therapeutic physical factors. The journal was founded in1923 on the initiative of professor P.N. Obrosov, the then head of Department of Health Resort Management, personally supported by Minister for Health N.A. Semashko.
