Abstract:

This experimental study has demonstrated beneficial effect of application of recombinant epidermal growth factor for the treatment of a wound in the oral cavity of otherwise healthy rats. Analysis of the data obtained in this experiment indicates that tissue regeneration was substantially accelerated by increasing growth factor concentration in drinking water up to 500 mkg/ml.
