A review article is devoted to the comparative analysis of indices in six directions, describing socio-economic indicators, environmental and behavioral factors, as well as health levels in 15 megapolises of the world, including Moscow. Following cities comparable to Moscow in terms of population, income level and role in the international economics, located on different continents have been selected for the study: New York, Mexico City, Chicago, Sao Paulo, London, Paris, Berlin, Singapore, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Seoul, Tokyo and Sydney. The obtained data suggest the benefits of the URBAN HEALTH principles implementation in large cities’ health management.
