Health care reforms pose many questions for healthcare providers. The lack of medical personnel and low salaries do not contribute to the normal performance by doctors of their professional duties. The article is devoted to the analysis of the working hours schedule for medical specialists, the determination of opportunities and financial coverage for fulfilling professional duties outside the main working hours (overtime), including work on weekends and holidays, part-time, etc. The main legislative and regulatory documents that regulate the time of work of medical personnel and protect their rights are presented.
