Abstract:

Socioeconomic transformations in Russia pose a number of tasks for society and its healthcare system in particular. One of them is proper, effective policy on preventing non-communicable diseases, including the formation of a responsible attitude towards their own health in our country’s citizens. For evaluation of the activities of medical prevention facilities, there are statistical reporting forms, but their given quantitative indicators cannot fully analyze the preventive work done. Along with this, it is difficult to evaluate the efficiency of interventions because there are problems in interpreting the information obtained. It is necessary to work on new techniques, the purpose of which will be to elaborate and implement criteria (or indicators) for the effectiveness of preventive measures, which will stimulate the better quality of prevention activity in the healthcare organizations and take measures for its optimization.
