Abstract:

A new mental method was developed for the primary prevention of addiction due to psychoactive substances (PAS) in schoolchildren. The organizational and functional mechanism of prevention based on this developed method to prevent PAS addiction in adolescents was scientifically sound. The effectiveness of this approach was evaluated from the statistically significantly reduced levels of the predictors of PAS abuse risk (neurotization, depression, and anxiety) and the activation of anti-addictive personality motivation in schoolchildren.
